The artist grew up in southern Minnesota and remembers always wanting to be a painter. His grandfather, who was fluent with a pencil, served as his earliest inspiration. After graduating from Minnesota State with his BFA in Studio Art, he spent time on the East Coast, then finally settled within a community of Northern Michigan artists.

The Summer Solstice Dinner in the Champagne Vineyard for Eight –
Hanna Bistro Bar and L. Mawby Vineyards have come together to provide you and your guests with a memorable summer dinner under the tent down in the vineyard! You will enjoy a multi-course dinner from the vineyard grill while sipping Larry’s sparkling wine with a serene view of the champagne valley and surrounding vineyards.

The dinner is served on the first Sunday after the Summer Solstice, June 24th. It will begin with appetizers and sparkling wine. The chef’s from Hanna will prepare a menu and cook on the large grill in the vineyard. Your dinner will be accompanied with the varied wines of L. Mawby vineyard.

There is no cash value. The date is set and won’t be changed. All beverages and gratuities are included. Others will join you at this festive dinner due to the generosity of the staff at Hanna.

French Dinner
Have an authentic French experience at Patisserie Amie. Chef/owner Eric Fritch will create a wonderful four course meal in his inimitable style for your party of eight. Gourmand Rose Hollander will assist Eric and provide some wine to compliment the food. You get to pick out a menu with Eric, according to your preferences. The cozy atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and his wacky personality will guarantee a memorable night.

Hockey Party Package
This package includes 25 tickets to a Traverse City North Stars home game (Centre Ice Arena); date to be mutually agreed upon when the 2007-08 schedule is announced (July/August). Before the game, enjoy a party with pizza, cake, balloons, (not to mention special guest North Stars Mascot Wild Cherry) and all the trimmings in the community room upstairs at Centre Ice Arena courtesy of Centre Ice Arena staff and Involved Citizens Enterprises (ICE). This room can accommodate over 50 people easily, and can also serve as a staging/storage area for the rest of your night with the Stars.
During the game, enjoy Zamboni rides in both the first and second intermissions, send us a contestant for the Super Score-O contest (first intermission), and send us your best stick boy or stick girl for “behind the bench” duty. After the game, join Wild Cherry and the North Stars players for a post game skate (30 min max). Centre Ice is happy to provide the skates, but helmets (STRONGLY encouraged) are the responsibility of the partygoers.

Extraordinary Evening of Fine Wine
and Food for Ten

Amanda and Paul Danielson, proprietors of the renowned Trattoria Stella, along with Executive Chef Myles Anton, will prepare special Italian dishes for ten of your select guests to share. Chef Myles’ dishes are inspired by his travels throughout Sicilia and the south of Italy. This evening will be hosted by Kim Hagerty and Antonio Simao at their home on Old Mission Peninsula.

The Danielsons will serve select wines from these regions to accompany the delicious feast and each guest will also receive a recipe book.
