The Children's House, an Independent Montessori School founded in 1984 is located just west of Traverse City. The beautiful campus honors the rural history of the region. Architecturally designed to serve active learners, infant through 6th grade, the building and its gardens, small woodlands and open fields attract a diverse population of families. Children's House Montessori faculty has attained professional Montessori certification at well-respected teacher-training sites.
