The Children's House offers Early Care (7:30 to 8:30 am) and Friend's Club (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.) daily. To ensure space for your child on a regular schedule throughout the school-year, please include these childcare hours in your tuition agreement. Welcome TCH parents to our after-school Friend’s Club program!
Friend’s Club begins at 3:15 PM and ends promptly at 5:30 PM. To pick your child up from friend’s club, please enter through the main lobby door and proceed to either the elementary or primary wings. Friend’s club staff must make contact with anyone picking up children, even in elementary. Please bring a photo ID during pick-up as our staff becomes familiar with new faces. If a person other than a legal guardian is picking up your child, they must be listed on the child’s emergency white card and a photo ID will be requested.
You may add your child for after-school care through the following channels:
- Your Boonli account found on the Children’s House website (traversechildrenshouse.org)
- By emailing the front desk (learn@traversechildrenshouse.org)
- By calling the front desk (231) 929-9325.
To ensure we have proper staffing for the number of children in our care the deadline for daily Friend’s Club add-ons is 12:00 PM. Add-ons after this time will only be accepted in the case of an unexpected event or emergency. We greatly appreciate all Friend’s Club requests to go through the afore-mentioned channels. To avoid confusion, please do not send requests or cancellations through the classroom guides or staff. Inform the front desk anytime you will be altering your regular Friend’s Club schedule.
