New Faces/New Roles:
Please visit our Faculty and Support Staff page and our Specialist page to view who is new to the TCH community.
Extracurricular Activities:
Each year, our Elementary and Junior High students look forward to participating on The Children’s House cross country, basketball, and track teams. Keeping our children learning in school is our number one priority. Because we are doing our best to keep our classroom cohorts separate during the school day, we are postponing the start of sports teams. When the time is right, we will send an informational email and survey to parents to gauge interest and availability to coach.

Learning Opportunities for Adults:
Building Anti-Biased Anti-Racist Families
October 6, 6:30 - 8:30 pm with Britt Hawthorne via Zoom
When we commit to collectively talking about fairness, equality, and justice with young children, we begin to envision a world in which not only children but all people are treated with dignity; free from the burden of unfair assumptions based on a single characteristic. It becomes a world where we actively challenge racism and bias each and every day. The goals of this family and community presentation are to dismantle the color-blind assumption and prepare children to work toward justice. This presentation shares concrete ways families can support their children’s developing racial and ethnic identities. Families learn how to empower their children, affirm their numerous identities, and accept differences.
Montessori 101 - required for all new families

This is required for all families who are new to our school - if you’re not new but would like a refresher, you are also welcome. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to all families closer to the date.
Montessori Up Close
