Logo Wear - Order Yours Today!
We’ve launched a new online store featuring our logo wear with sizes and styles for every member of your family. Items are priced at cost. Simply place your order online and then pick it up at school in about three weeks. Deadline to place your order is May 10. The store will reopen periodically with changing styles for the changing seasons. You can also find the Logo Wear Store in the Parent Portal on our website.
Flatbed Trailer Needed For Float
Plans are underway for The Children's House Cherry Festival float and we need your help. Do you, or anyone you know, have a dual axle flatbed trailer approximately 8x12-18' we could borrow for a couple of months until July 7? We prefer a trailer without sides - the more basic the better. We are also open to purchasing or renting a trailer and are pursuing storage options. Downtown TC Celebration for Young Children
Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visit Downtown TC Saturday, April 27 and enjoy the Celebration for Young Children. Hands on activity center at the City Opera House, store specials and activities for the little ones, Wings of Wonder, children's artwork displays, and more. Artwork by our own junior high students will be featured at Morsels. Thank you Alison Hoffman and Misha Neidorfler for including TCH in this new family event.
Screen Free Week: May 2 - 9 Sign Up Today!
We will kick-off the challenge on Thursday, May 2 from 5 - 6 p.m. at school with fun activities and a snack for the children (Primary and older). Parents please join us in the community room to explore and discuss how to adequately frame and balance tech’s gravitational pull on our (and our children's) time, attention, and curiosity. On May 9, children who complete the Screen Free Week challenge will receive a certificate for a free ice cream at Moomers! We hope you will take up the challenge. Please sign up to let us know if you will participate in Screen Free Week.

Annual Fund - June 30 Deadline
This year, the goal for the Annual Fund is to raise $40,000 by June 30, 2019. As of today, $22,235 has been received from generous parents, grandparents, alumni families, foundations, and corporations. You can be part of the vitality of our school by making a gift today. You may also add your gift to your school account for automatic withdrawal. Simply contact Renee Hintz with the details of your gift. Thank you.
Grandparent's Day - May 24
Mark your calendars! On May 24, we will be hosting our 17th annual Grandparent’s and Special Friends of that Generation Day. If you would like to have your child's grandparents or special friends invited to attend, login to the parent portal to update your family info. Click on the Family Information Access Module tab and then fill out the grandparent section. Be sure to check the box that indicates that you would like them to be invited to Grandparent’s Day. We will not send an invitation if this box isn’t checked. Invitations will be mailed in early May, so please complete this information by April 26.
