In our thoughtfully designed classroom, you will be inspired and supported to guide your child in their education and development. The experience will be facilitated by Montessori Guide, Britny Tollstam. All classes take place in our Milkweed classroom at The Children’s House.
Newborn - Infant class
For parents or caregivers and infants who are past the fourth trimester and are scooting, crawling, or taking first steps. Once a child begins to walk they may move to the next level of classes. In a room thoughtfully designed for early motor development, your child will have complete freedom of movement in our ‘yes space’ to practice their budding skills.
Periods of observation and time for reflection are included in these one hour sessions. Come build your awareness of the whole child!

Toddler class
For parents or caregivers and children who are walking steadily and are 1 to 3 years old. Children in this stage are coming into a sensitive period for order and they often enjoy working alongside the adults in their life. We see their motto as “help me to do it myself.” In this class a careful selection of activities will nurture this progression and desire.
Attendees will have free range to select materials from anywhere in the room and explore at their own pace. Come learn what it is like to immerse yourself in the Montessori method with your child.
