In The Know:
Moving up Night, Tuesday, June 7
Kindergarten at 5 p.m. and 6th Years at 6:30 p.m.
This special evening is a celebration of students moving from one Plane of Development to the next. Kindergartners are finishing what Maria Montessori named the First Plane of Development and moving into Childhood. 6th years are finishing this Second Plane of Development and moving into Adolescence. Both of these milestones will be celebrated in the child’s classroom and their families are invited. After the ceremony, the festivities continue with a slideshow and cookies in the gym.
Graduation, Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m.
This ceremony recognizes the accomplishments of our 8th year graduates and takes place outdoors in the courtyard. Our entire school community including alumni are invited to attend this special event and wish our graduates farewell. After the ceremony, the festivities continue with a slideshow and a dessert reception in the gym.
Dance of the Cosmos, June 10 at 11 a.m.
This tradition at TCH has been in place since the school was founded in 1984. The students shine in this celebration: a recognition of the importance of each of them in our community. Also recognized are the children who have completed their classroom cycle. All parents, grandparents, and alumni are invited. Arrive as early as 10:3

BATA is Back! We are excited to share that BATA now has the ability to accommodate an afternoon route for us again between The Children’s House and the Hall Street station. The morning bus will remain the same schedule through the summer. Then, on Monday, June 20th the afternoon bus will begin its pick-up once again.
Schedules:
Morning: 7:30am Hall Street Pick-Up arrives at TCH at 7:45am
Afternoon as of June 20th: 3:45pm TCH Pick-Up arrives at Hall Street Station at 4:00pm
For your child to ride the afternoon bus, please fill out this form by 2PM each day. Only children on the list will be permitted to get on the bus each day.
