Other Notes:

Winter Drive for Father Fred: Nov 11 - 22
We want to help families in need. We will be collecting flannel sheets, warm blankets, socks and gloves. These items can be used, but they must be clean and without rips or tears. There will be a box in the lobby for these items. We will be doing this from Nov 11 - 22. These items will go Father Fred for people who need warm things for winter. There will also be an open donation jar in the lobby. - Ava and Lilah, 6th years

Dad’s Night at The Workshop: Nov 21, 6 - 8 pm
Pete Kirkwood, Dan Besselsen, and Ryan Sullivan invite fellow TCH dads to get to know each other and kick off the Annual Raffle—$25,000 Grand Prize—on Thursday, November 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Workshop. Food and the first round of beer provided. Click here to get on the guest list.

Mom’s Holiday Party: Dec 11, 6 - 9 pm
TCH moms are invited to our annual Mom’s Holiday Party graciously hosted by Carrine Pomaranski. RSVP by completing this simple form or by calling the front desk at 929-9325 by Dec 9. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you!

Snow Day Lunch Policy Change
Lunches listed on the menu on days that become snow days will be substituted for the menu item on the first day back following the snow day. If this doesn't align with your child’s dietary needs or preferences, you have until noon on the snow day to modify your order. Exception: If the snow day is on Friday, pizza will still be served on Monday as usual.

 Inclement Weather Information

Sing up with RemindTCH Administration determines school delays and closings with the assistance of local law enforcement officer Tom Flitton, and TCH outdoor services provider, Chris Danbrook. Parents will receive an email by 7:00 a.m. (or earlier if possible) notifying them of the delay or closure. The information will also be posted on the school’s website at 7:00 a.m. Please note that TCH will not automatically follow the closure policies of TCAPS and NMC as it has in the past.

In addition to an email alerting you about school closings and delays, we will be adding notifications via Remind. Simply download the remind app to your mobile device and set up an account. Then, Text @hg6c3f2 to the number 81010. You will receive a welcome text from Remind. If you have any trouble with 81010, you can try texting @hg6c3f2 to (231) 638-5530. The class is titled TCH Parent Community. If you have questions about the Remind app, let us know and we will do our best to help you.  If you signed up last year for these notifications, you do not need to re-register.

"Something I Noticed"

Each week you will see a short example of something kind that one of us observed or experienced. This gives you a peak into the wonderful interactions our faculty and staff have with your children, and each other, everyday!

“A toddler teacher happily took our trash and compost out on a cold, snowy afternoon after realizing how busy we were in primary, this was soooo helpful to us!”
