Summer 2020
Summer is off to a great start! The children are so excited to be together, and we are so delighted to hear laughter and fun in our halls once again! We have a couple of spots left in elementary, Contact Kim Gallagher with questions kim@traversechildrenshouse.org.
Annual Fund
We are happy to report that our annual fund has reached $146,918. This includes $38,745 in tuition reimbursements that you, our families, donated back to the school during this most challenging time. Thank you! In addition, our raffle and online gala earned $24,559. If you haven’t given yet, it is not too late. Our fiscal year ends June 30. When you give, your name is included among our list of donors in our annual report - having your name on the list each year shows our greater community just how much our school means to our families. Meals on Wheels - Volunteer Opportunity
March 13 was the last time our school delivered meals to the 10 people on route 43. Due to COVID-19, Meals on Wheels changed their protocol to limit the number of people interacting with their clients. Because our children were a bright light in the lives of these individuals, Virginie Kanner, TCH Parent Volunteer, invites you to mail handmade cards. If you would like to help spread cheer on behalf of TCH, please contact Virginie at vykanner@gmail.com.

Did you know there is a directory of TCH family-owned businesses in the Parent Portal? If you own a business and are not listed, please let us know by completing this Google form. The harsh economic impact of COVID-19 is just starting to be realized. Please support TCH family-owned businesses.
TCH Facebook Community
In an effort to connect our school community even more, a private Facebook group, The Children’s House Community has been created. Please join to share ideas and swap items. The Children's House is a certified Green School. Having a way to give extra life to items your children outgrow helps support this initiative. You may post items that you need, want to sell, trade, or give-away. Please invite other TCH parents.

AmazonSmile customers can now support The Children's House Montessori School of Traverse City in the Amazon shopping app on iOS and Android mobile phones! Simply follow these instructions to turn on AmazonSmile and start generating donations.
- Open the Amazon Shopping app on your device
- Go into the main menu of the Amazon Shopping app and tap into 'Settings'
- Tap 'AmazonSmile' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process
