IRA Charitable Distribution 

If you are at least age 72 and have IRA investments, please consider making a gift to The Children’s House from your required distribution without incurring any taxes. 

A qualified charitable distribution generally is a nontaxable distribution made directly by the trustee of your IRA to an organization eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. You must be at least age 72 when the distribution was made. Your qualified charitable distributions can satisfy all or part the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA.

Securities

The Children's House accepts gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Please call Renee Hintz for details on how to make this type of gift. 231-929-9325. 

Memorials and Honorariums

We gladly accept gifts in honor or in memory of a loved one. Please include a note with the name of the person, the sentiment behind the gift, and their address and we will send a card to the honoree or family acknowledging your gift.

The Children's House is a nonprofit organization where fundraising is needed to offer the highest quality Montessori learning environment while keeping tuition at an accessible rate for our region.
