In The Know:

New! Student Council Bake Sale
Hello, this is the student council and we are having a bake sale to benefit Safe Harbor. We would appreciate it if you would bring cupcakes, cookies, brownies, or another dessert to our school on the morning of December 16. (We can’t return plates or other dishes. Please individually wrap food.) Our goal is to raise $1,000 for Safe Harbor this winter. We will be selling baked goods before and after the Seasonal Sing. Thank you and happy holidays.

New! Thank you to our subs
Substitutes are an integral part of the community. We are sincerely grateful to these people and anyone who decides to sub with us allowing the staff to take time off and keep the classrooms running when people get sick. Check out this link to see our current list of regular substitutes.

New! Be SMART campaign
We were recently made aware of the national Be SMART campaign and, after gaining full support from our Board of Directors, decided to share this important and actionable message with you.

“Be SMART was launched to raise awareness that secure gun storage (storing guns locked, unloaded and separate from ammunition) can save children’s lives. Be SMART emphasizes that it’s an adult responsibility to keep children from accessing guns, and that every adult can play a role in keeping children and communities safer.”

As a member of The Children’s House and Compass Junior High community, we must all do our part to keep children safe. To help normalize the expectation that guns are to be securely stored away from children, please log in to Family Access and sign our new Be SMART community pledge.

Spirit Wear Store is Open!

All families are invited to join us in the Barn (aka the gym) for our annual sing-along. Arrive as early as 2:45 p.m. Nido and YCC parents will receive specific instructions from their guide. School closes immediately after the sing-along.
